On Friday, June 14, seven members of PW Chapter NSDAR provided cookies for 149 new citizens from 157 countries after a Naturalization Ceremony in Atlanta at the U.S. District Court, Northern District of GA.
US Magistrate Judge E. Clayton Scofield administered the oath that naturalized the immigrants into American citizens. After the oath, they pledge allegiance to their new flag.
Following the ceremony, the Daughters provided hugs, laughs, and congratulations in the receiving line and cookies outside the courtroom doors.
