'RIP Warm Weather': After Trick-or-Treating, Get Ready for Arctic Blast in Dacula
A strong upper-level will bring freezing temps and wind chills, and maybe even snow north of metro Atlanta.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City posted an ominous Halloween graphic on its website as part of its Trick or Treat forecast for Friday night.

The weather service said conditions for Halloween trick-or-treating should be comfortable — temps in the 50s and 60s, clear skies and no precipitation — but everything changes overnight:
Cold weather will arrive in Georgia this weekend! High temperatures Saturday will be in the 40s and 50s, and strong winds will cause wind chills to remain even colder. Tonight into Saturday morning, light snow showers will be possible across northeast Georgia. Very light accumulations of less than an inch are possible on grassy and elevated surfaces.

Frozen precipitation is possible north of a line from Bartow County to the west to Hall County to the east. Dacula should be spared from the frozen precip.
The weather service said the cold air will help push wind chills into the 30s during the day Saturday. Sunday morning lows are expected to be around the freezing point.
The frigid weather is expected to hang around until Tuesday, when highs should be around 70 degrees. Lows will be in the mid-30s overnight Sunday and Monday.
The weather service said a strong upper-level system will dive into Georgia Friday night, bringing a blast of cold air.
