Sears Hometown Store of Dacula

Did you know there are approximately 900 Sears Hometown Stores all over the United States and we have one right here in Dacula?  Located at 832 Dacula Road the sells anything you can find at any Sears store.  If you have seen it at Sears or online, you can buy it from Dacula's own Blue Crew and support a local business at the same time. 

The Sears Hometown Store of Dacula is owned and operated by Jim Easterling.  Jim and his family are active members of the Dacula Community.  Jim has attended for some 20 years and his wife Nancy Easterling graduated from .  Jim opened the Sears Hometown Store in Dacula back in February of 2009.  I spent some time talking with Jim this week about he got started with Sears and the Hometown Stores.  Jim said he worked in construction prior to opening this location and he had an uncle that worked for Sears.  They decided to partner together and open a couple of Hometown Stores and being familiar with Dacula he felt this was the perfect spot for one of the locations.  Jim explained to me the premise behind Sears idea for Hometown Stores. 

"These stores provide small cities like Dacula the quality products that Sears has to offer without requiring the residents to travel long distances to reach a Sears that is associated with a large shopping center or mall," he said. 

Other than the Hometown Stores, the closest full Sears store is located at Gwinnett Mall in Duluth.

Our hometown Sears store is well stocked with home appliances, Craftsman lawn equipment and tools, home electronics, bikes, patio furniture displays and more.  (I think I even saw a go cart while at the store.)  Sears carries name brand appliances such as Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn Air, GE, Samsung, LG, and Frigidaire.  Other items in stock are refrigerator water filters, lawn equipment parts, Kenmore vacuum bags, filters and belts.  Other services available at this location include delivery of items, installation, repair scheduling, drop off point for items, part ordering, and more.

Remember, if is is available at Sears, it is available at our Hometown Store. 

Sears Hometown Store of Dacula is open Mon. – Sat. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
