STEM Adventure Event Saturday At Kiddie Academy of Dacula

DACULA, GA — Kiddie Academy invites Dacula-area families to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math at a free indoor event, Saturday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. Kiddie Academy invites local families to share in fun, educational and age-appropriate activities at an indoor STEM Adventures Event hosted by Kiddie Academy of Dacula. Activities are based on two themes that combine elements of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in interactive projects that foster learning through play.

Two events at the fair will be Out of This World and Fun with Machines. During Out of This World, kids will be making moon sand, creating craters, lunar volcanoes, using force to move rockets, making planets orbit the sun, making mini-constellations and shooting stars, communicating in space and mission control

During Fun with Machines kids will dealing with Vibrobot Scribble Machine, Marble Run, Wheel and Axle construction, Cardboard Tube Derby, Pulley and Levers.

The event is designed to introduce kids of all ages and their families to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education through age-appropriate and fun activities, according to Sandra Calvin, Director of Kiddie Academy of Dacula. “We want our local families to see for themselves all the ways in which Kiddie Academy’s Life Essentials® curriculum taps into children’s natural sense of wonder and discovery as they explore the laws that govern the world around them.”
