Sunday Sales Bill Passes State Senate
Legislation now moves to Georgia House of Representatives.

With just 10 days remaining in the legislative session, Senate Bill 10, a bill to allow Sunday sales of alcohol in stores, has passed the Georgia State Senate 32-22.
The bill passed on crossover day, the last day in which legislation can move from one chamber of the General Assembly to another.
If it passes, S.B. 10, will allow local governments to hold referendums on whether or not to permit Sunday sales of beer, wine and alcohol in grocery and liquor stores.
