Take a Bike Ride with Apalachee Cycle
Each week we feature a business from our hometown of Dacula. This week learn more about Apalachee Cycle.

Okay Dacula, do you know what store in our hometown was a printing business for approximately 35 years and now is home to a bike shop? If you guessed you are correct. This bike shop is located at 2493 Second Avenue in downtown Dacula right by the train tracks. In addition to providing Dacula residents bike sales, service, and repair, Apalachee Cycle also organizes weekday and Saturday rides that are open to the public. Rides are posted on the Apalachee Cycle Facebook page and website. Apalachee Cycle is owned and operated by Bruce Ray who I spoke with earlier this week.
Patch: What motivated you to open a business here in Dacula?
Bruce: We owned a printing business in this building for about 35 years and as the printing business changed we wanted to do something different. Being a cyclist, I decided to open a bike shop here six and a half years ago.
