TNT's 'Dallas' Premieres June 13

Fans of the original television series can find out what J.R. Ewing and the other residents of Southfork have been doing for the past 20 years.

From 1978 to 1991, viewers across the country tuned in watch the prime time soap opera "Dallas." The show, which featured the fictional Ewing family, was hugely successful and won several Emmys.

Now, more than 20 years later, TNT is revising the series.

The two-hour series premiere of "Dallas" airs tonight at 9 p.m. Viewers will have the chance to see Ewing family villain J.R. as well as brother Bobby and J.R.'s ex-wife Sue Ellen.

The show, however, will primarily focus on the next generation of the Ewing family -- J.R.'s son John Ross and Bobby's adopted son Christopher.

John Ross, like his father, has a desire for money and power. J.R., according to the show's website, plans to use that desire to help get Ewing oil back under his control -- control he lost during a long, bitter feud with Bobby.
