"Funny how we didn't miss them until they were gone and thought of never having another one was staring us in the face. How did this happen to us? How did it happen to them? Let's think about it...when is the last time you saw an advertisement for a Twinkie? Really think about it...TV, Radio, Print, Billboard, Direct Mail, .... anything? Maybe they shouldn't have stopped proactive marketing just because people already knew the brand.... Even after brand recognition is achieved, consumers need a reminder to encourage them to buy.
