Visitation to Be Held Monday for Woman Killed Crossing I-85
Jade Christensen was struck by a truck and killed on Sept. 16 as she attempted to walk across the southbound lanes of I-85.

The family of Jade Doster Christensen will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. during visitation Monday at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford.
. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Doster and brothers Danny Doster and David Doster. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Todd R. Christensen, Buford; son, Derek Chapman, Buford; daughter, Madeleine Christensen, Buford; mother, Eleanor Smith Doster, Winterville, Ga.; sisters Jennifer Doster and Jerri Thompson, both of Athens; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Ann Christensen, Omaha, Neb.; sister-in-law, Kim and Gary Clark, N.C.; brothers-in-law, Scott and Regina Christensen, Omaha, Neb., and Kevin and Kim Christensen, Sioux City, Iowa as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christensen was born August 12, 1972 in Athens, Ga. She was a 1988 graduate of the Americas Academy in Athens. She was a systems developer for the First National Bank of Omaha for sixteen years.
