The Falcons advanced in the Class 6A football playoffs with a 17-14 win over Peachtree Ridge.
Dacula High’s successful 2014 football season continued with a first-round win in the Class 6A playoffs Friday night.
The Falcons beat Peachtree Ridge 17-14 behind touchdown runs from Giovanni Lugo and Jakob Brashear. Corey Ames’ interception late in the game secure the win, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported. (Read the game report here)
Dacula, ranked No. 4 in Georgia, will take its 10-1 record to Moultrie next week to face top-ranked Colquitt County.
