Woman Calls 911 While Burglars Were Inside House
Inside Dacula Police Reports: She hid in a bathroom with a cell phone as suspects went through house.

Two teenagers were arrested for burglary after a Dacula woman called 911 while they were allegedly in her family’s home.
According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, the two were charged with several offenses, including burglary and running from police, stemming from a Nov. 5 burglary report in the Wolf Creek subdivision.
The woman, a recent graduate of Dacula High School, was in the house when the two suspects broke in after ringing the doorbell several times. According to the incident report, she saw one of the teens removing a screen from a back window, so she ran and hid in a bathroom and called 911. The suspects could be heard in the house while the woman was on the phone.

They fled before police arrived, but she pointed to a wooded area behind the house and told police that burglars were running in that direction.
The suspects were eventually caught and positively identified by the woman.

Police found items dumped in a ravine in the wooded area, but only a laptop, iPad and iPhone belonged to the woman.
Police said another burglary attempt was reported in the same subdivision around the same time and could be connected to this one.
