Working Out With Adonis
A look into a newer form of workout class at the Dance and Music Factory in Dacula.
Rick Twombley started his career in dance on a dare in high school and from there has gone on to great things. Twombley has created a successful career as a professional performer and choreographer and has worked across the globe as a dancer, actor, singer, choreographer and aerialist.
In addition to performing as an aerialist for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, Twombley gained fame for his portrayal of Tarzan for Disney for over five years in Hong Kong, China.
Twombley created the Adonis Body System during his time in Cirque du Soleil when he needed a gym but none were available due to his hectic travel schedule. The workout is a group class inspired by disciplines such as dance, kick-boxing, Swiss Ball, interval and resistance weight training, Yoga and Pilates. The exercises improve cardio fitness and challenge all major muscle groups while increasing flexibility, balance and overall well-being.
