Teen Shooter Arrested In 6 Year Old's Death: Police
The little boy was shot in DeKalb on Saturday, after teens had a fight over a social media post, and died Saturday, according to police.

DECATUR, GA — A 17 year old accused of firing 31 shots into a DeKalb County house after an argument over a social media post — killing a 6-year-old-boy — has been caught, according to police.
DeKalb County Police spokesman Lt. Lonzy Robertson said Meshon Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon near Interstate 20 and Candler Road.
On Wednesday, 6-year-old Z’Mari Mitchell had died at a hospital from wounds he received in the Saturday shooting, according to DeKalb County Police.

There, they say, he got into an argument with the people who lived there over a social media post. Williams' group started to leave. But, as they did, he stopped, got out of the car and fired 31 shots at the house, according to police.
Young Z'Mari, who was playing in the living room, was hit and taken to a local hospital, where he had been listed in critical condition.
Williams, whom police began searching for almost immediately after the shooting, had been wanted on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery, before Z'Mari died. He almost certainly now faces a murder charge as well.
