
Pretty soon we’ll be full swing into the holiday season, and with that comes festive parties at home and at work, and for most, an extra few pounds in weight at the beginning of the new year. On average, most adults gain between 2-5 pounds of body fat each holiday season. That doesn’t sound so bad until you understand the other part of the statistic. Most people don’t manage to lose that additional weight at the start of the new year, and instead end up accumulating that extra 2-5 pounds annually. That means that over the course of five years the average adult gains anywhere between 5-10 pounds, or more. Not a pleasant reality, is it?

What is it all about? It's about me wanting to help you avoid weight gain over the coming holiday period, so that you can start the new year feeling healthy and good about yourself. It's not about trying to lose weight now, though if that happens that will be awesome!
What do I have to do on the Challenge? Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing easy to follow tips to keep you on track with your goals, while still being able to enjoy the festive season. There's nothing complicated about it. It's really just a mechanism to keep you conscious about your behavior.
I've also offered up the option of having me act as your accountability partner. People that share their intentions/goals are much more likely to succeed than those that don't.
Is there one-to-one coaching on the challenge? No, not directly. The Challenge is a FREE group coaching program, though I will be responding to emails, should anyone have a question, or simply want to share what's happening with them.
