Atlanta Child Murders Suspect Wayne Williams Seeks Parole
The main suspect in the Atlanta Child Murders, Wayne Williams, went before the Georgia Parole Board Monday. In 1982, he was convicted of killing two adults and a judge sentenced him to serve two life terms.
Fire Doing 'Keep The Wreath Green' To Raise Awareness
During the holiday season, a metro fire department will participate in the "Keep the Wreath Green" campaign through Jan. 1. One green bulb on the wreath will be replaced by a red bulb for every structure fire that occurs in during that time period.

County Sets Time Limit On Extended Stay Motel Guests
In October, the Budgetel Inn off Carson Loop closed abruptly leaving about 100 people with no place to go. One resident said they had been living there for three years. Now residents are limited to a few months before they need to leave.
Police Have No Arrests Or Motive In Lilburn Shooting, Victim IDed
Gwinnett County police have identified a man shot to death early Friday morning near Lilburn. They are looking into a motive and no arrests have been made, said authorities, who have released the victim's name.
