Local Resurgens Orthopaedics Physician Named Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine

Dr. Erroll J. Bailey of the Decatur office of Resurgens Orthopaedics (487 Winn Way, Suite 100)—Georgia’s largest orthopaedic practice—was named to the 2012 list of Top Docs in the July issue of Atlanta magazine.

Five additional Resurgens Orthopaedics physicians joined Dr. Bailey in the prestigious listing: Drs. Edward H. Holliger IV, Robert A. Kelly, Kenneth J. Kress, Douglas W. Lundy, and Yvonne E. Satterwhite.

Top Doctors were nominated by both a nationwide survey administered by Castle Connolly and by licensed physicians in DeKalb, Fulton, Cobb, Clayton, and Gwinnett counties who submitted online votes for exceptional colleagues they would send their own families to.

Dr. Bailey practices at the Resurgens Decatur, Midtown, and St. Joseph’s offices. His areas of expertise include adult reconstruction of the foot and ankle, sports medicine of the foot and ankle, general orthopaedics, and diabetic feet. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Bailey completed his residency at Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program and his fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery—St. Luke’s in New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Foot & Ankle Society, the Atlanta Orthopaedic Society, and the Atlanta Medical Association. Dr. Bailey was also honored as a Top Doc by Atlanta magazine in 2011.
