Arrest Made in Child Shooting at DeKalb Park
The five-year-old boy was shot in the head with a BB gun Sunday night.
DECATUR, GA — An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting of a five-year-old boy at a DeKalb park on Sunday.
Jhakwan Williams, 24, has been charged with aggravated assault, according to police. The boy was shot in the head with a BB gun at Lou Walker Park on Larkspur Terrace in unincorporated Decatur.
The boy was taken to a local hospital. Witnesses said the boy had been shot in the head by his mother's boyfriend.

Police believe the shooting was accidental.
