AT&T To Bring GigaPower Network to Decatur

The all-fiber network delivers speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second, a boost for business.

AT&T has confirmed that it will expand its GigaPower network to Decatur and the city of Atlanta, according to the company’s press release.

The all-fiber network bills itself on delivering speed of up to 1 gigabit per second and AT&T’s “most advanced” television services to consumers and small businesses, the company stated.

In addition to the expansion into Sandy Springs, AT&T also plans to launch the GigaPower network in the cities of Sandy Springs and Newnan, which will allow small businesses and residents to have access to faster Internet speeds via AT&T.

Residents and small businesses utilizing the network will also experience “cutting-edge” television services, including the ability to watch and record five simultaneous HD streams and access to AT&T’s largest capacity DVR with a one terabyte hard drive.
