Three time BMA nominee's The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band are "the greatest front-porch blues band in the world". They are led by Reverend Peyton, who most consider to be the premier finger picker playing today. He has earned a reputation as both a singularly compelling performer and a persuasive evangelist for the rootsy, country blues styles that captured his imagination early in life and inspired him and his band to make pilgrimages to Clarksdale, Mississippi to study under such blues masters as T-Model Ford, Robert Belfour and David “Honeyboy” Edwards. Their ecord Dance Songs For Hard Times went #1 on the Billboard, iTunes and Sirius XM Blues Charts and was produced by Grammy winner Vance Powell. The record was critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, Relix, Popmatters, Guitar World, American Songwriter, No Depression, Glide, Wide Open Country, Paste, American Blues Scene and many more! --- Roots music that makes you move. Adrian and Meredith Band is a Nashville-based Bohemian swing-folk act built around rhythm, movement, and the shared experience of live music. Led by married duo Adrian and Meredith Krygowski, the band draws from Americana, swing, soul, polka, and global folk traditions

Atlanta Woman-Owned Firm Addresses Women's Apparel Needs

Alexis S Intimates

As awareness grows around women's health, body positivity, and inclusive sizing, Atlanta-based Crescent Consulting Group, Inc. and its manufacturing division, SWH Apparel, are helping fill a longstanding gap in the apparel industry. Founded by entrepreneur Sumiyyah Rasheed, the minority woman-owned company specializes in designing and manufacturing products for curvy women, post-surgical patients, and women experiencing the physical changes associated with perimenopause. With more than 25 years of experience in apparel development and technical design, the company focuses on creating garments that combine comfort, support, and confidence. Based in the Atlanta metropolitan area, SWH Apparel develops large-cup intimate apparel, post-surgical support garments, wellness apparel, and technical apparel solutions. The company is also the manufacturer behind AlexisS Intimates, a woman-owned lingerie brand designed specifically for curvy women seeking stylish, supportive lingerie and large-cup bras. "We recognized that many women were being underserved by traditional apparel manufacturers," said Rasheed. "Our goal is to create products that fit properly, provide support, and help women feel confident at every stage of life." Unlike many apparel companies focused primarily on fashion trends, SWH Apparel emphasizes fit, function, and technical product development. The company also remains committed to domestic manufacturing and workforce development within the Atlanta region. "Manufacturing creates opportunities," Rasheed said. "It develops skills, creates jobs, and strengthens communities." As demand grows for inclusive sizing and specialized wellness products, Crescent Consulting Group, SWH Apparel, and AlexisS Intimates continue to invest in innovation while serving women whose needs have often been overlooked.

Campers will participate in exciting activities including outdoor exploration, science experiments, engineering challenges, team games, creative arts, field trips, and youth business projects. A strong focus of our summer program is literacy and enrichment.
