Another Chance Empowerment Foundation, Inc 13th Annual Founder’s Day Community BBQ!
DECATUR, GA- Another Chance Empowerment Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit tax-exempt 501(C)(3) charitable organization. ACEF was founded to empower individuals with disabilities by teaching sustainable creation and innovation. Participants learn practical skills, eco-friendly practices, and technology integration to "build, think, and create" for themselves.
Signature Events and Programs:
ADVOCACY - Imagine a day of community engagement mixed with health and wellness. Our Annual “Community Gardening Day” is a day that we teach those with disabilities, along with their family and friends the importance of sustainability, health and wellness through gardening.
INNOVATION - We host an annual “Technology Day” This is a workshop that teaches the individual's how to use the latest technology to help them with their disability, and how to feel and be included in the ever-growing world of technology.
COMMUNITY - ACEF opens our hearts and doors to host the BIGGEST BBQ to raise awareness for those with disabilities.
This is a day to create friendships and to learn about the different companies that stand as allies for those with disabilities.
This year's theme is Rodeo Show!
GIVING - Access to resources and goods can be very challenging for those with limitations. That is why ACEF hosts an annual toy and wheelchair giveaway during our annual end of the year winter party.
