ICYMI: Carjacking At Decatur Kroger Reported

Two robbers pulled a gun on a woman as she was returning to her vehicle, police say.

DECATUR, GA -- Decatur Police are searching for two men who stole a woman's vehicle at gunpoint in the Kroger parking lot.

Police were called at 10:26 p.m. Monday to the Kroger at 720 Commerce Dr.

The victim said she was leaving the store and had opened the trunk of her Honda Accord when two men, possibly teens, began walking toward her from the sidewalk along Commerce Drive.

As she walked to the driver's side of her car, the men came up behind her and one of them pulled a black handgun and put it to the left side of her head -- telling her not to draw attention to herself.

He grabbed her keys and an attached cardholder and got into the driver's side of the vehicle. The other man got into the passenger side and they drove away on Commerce.

The Accord was found abandoned in southwest Atlanta Tuesday morning.

The first suspect, the one with the gun, is described as a black male, about 16-17 years old and about 5'7, with a dark complexion, wearing a maroon hoodie with white trim and dark pants or shorts.

The second suspect is described as a black male, about 16-17 years old and about 5'7, with a dark complexion, wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants or shorts.
