Coming Decatur Restaurants Among 'Atlanta's Most Anticipated'
The two restaurants, which will open this spring, made Atlanta Eater's "Most Anticipated Restaurant Openings" for Spring 2016.

DECATUR, GA -- A Japanese restaurant and a bowling-alley pub coming to Decatur are among the Atlanta food scene's most anticipated new restaurants.
Brush Sushi Izakaya and Comet Pub & Lanes, both slated to open soon, made Atlanta Eater's list of "Most Anticipated Atlanta Restaurant Openings" for spring of 2016.
Brush Sushi Izakaya will be helmed by former One Sushi+ executive chef and Craft Izakaya sushi chef Jason Liang. Eater reports that his concept for the Decatur restaurant will be "more inline with the traditions of the Japanese sushi-ya than Atlanta is used to seeing."

Claiming the former location of Suburban Lanes even as a wave of development goes on all around it, The Comet Pub & Lanes is being created by the team behind Twain's Brewpub & Billiards in Decatur.
Yes, there will be bowling. And the pub will use locally sourced ingredients for its menu.
"On the menu, look for hand-tossed pizzas, burgers, and shareable plates, and the bar will pour craft beers and custom cocktails," Eater wrote.
The Comet Pub & Lanes will be located at 2619 North Decatur Rd. and is set to open in late April or early May.
