With the concept that that 'content is king,' Lenz relaunches website

Lenz, the Decatur-based marketing agency, relaunched its website to better showcase its expertise, principal service areas, company spirit.

November 17, 2015 (Decatur, Ga.) — Lenz, which has designed state-of-the-art websites for its clients for years, recently gave itself the client treatment, relaunching its website to better showcase its expertise, principal service areas and unique company spirit.

In order to attract the kinds of clients best suited to the services it offers – those in the healthcare, nonprofit and “smart” business space – Lenz created a more clearly defined website, outling those services in brand strategy, advertising, digital marketing and public relations with case studies under each that are heavy in content.

Art director Ben Barnes brought his modernist and minimalist approach to the website, which has something of a retro feel in its black-and-white color scheme with highlights in orange – Lenz’s signature color. Potential clients who scroll to the bottom of every page will find a landing page where they can send an email to set up an appointment or receive more information.

The re-launch comes as the firm has embarked upon Lenz 2.0 – a strategic re-focusing with an eye on quality growth and a beefed up advertising campaign of its own.

“We have been in business for almost 25 years and have the strongest team we’ve ever had so we wanted a website that reflected that,” Lenz CEO and founder Richard Lenz said. “At Lenz, we want our clients to be people who enjoy working with us and with whom we enjoy doing business. We are creative people, we’re hard-working but we also value the quality of our experiences. I think this website demonstrates that.”

The homepage shows visitors a young boy dressed as a superhero, his arm raised in a gesture of empowerment with a look of gritty determination on his face as his parents look on in the background, enjoying a cocktail after a day’s work.

Vice president of marketing Mike Killeen, who has spent his entire career at Lenz, spearheaded the project. He helped to more cleanly present the firm’s services and specialties. He also hand-picked which of the firm’s case studies to present on the new site.

Barnes helped to implemented Killeen’s vision.

“Content is king,” Barnes said, “and the site really reflects that and makes content the hero.”
