Credit administration pro added to bank team

Private Bank of Buckhead, which includes Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage, has added Eric Swilling, as Assistant Vice President, Credit Administration. He’ll be based out of Private Bank of Decatur, serving clients across the metro area.

“Eric’s personality and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty fosters relationships both with his coworkers and with our clients,” says Decatur resident Michael Keller, the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer.

Swilling has been in banking for 10 years and previously worked with SCBT in Athens as a Vice President and Commercial Lender.

“I live by the adage, ‘Where there’s a will, there’s a way,’” Swilling says, “and that can-do attitude has served me and my clients well. I appreciate knowing that our team can be part of helping people live their dreams and manage their day-to-day needs.”

In his spare time, Swilling enjoys travel, visiting jazz lounges, attending art exhibits, and mentoring at-risk students. He also gives his time to Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs, a non-profit community lender, has served as a board member for Northeast Georgia CASA and has been an active Rotary Club member. He also is an active real estate investor who recently acquired his fifth property in four years. Swilling resides in Atlanta.
