Decatur Farmers Market Returns, Launches Saturday Market
This year's market has a new location.

DECATUR, GA -- The Decatur Farmers Market returns on Wednesday, and will for the first time be opening up its Saturday market this week, too.
The location of the market has changed. This year, it will be located on the lawn of First Baptist Church, at 308 Clairemont Ave., the city announced in a blog post.
The Wednesday market will be open from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. weekly.

A grand opening is planned for the Saturday market, which will be open 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Mayor Patti Garrett will be on hand to cut the ribbon on the Saturday market.

The blog post says that many vendors will be returning for this year's farmers market and several new ones have been added.
Wednesday at 6 p.m., Savannah Haseler of Twain's Brewpub & Billiards will be cooking up a tasting of food available at the market. She'll be there to talk about her demo and the soon-to-open Comet Pub & Lanes in Suburban Plaza.
