A DeKalb County man is fighting for his life after doctors were forced to remove his leg due to injuries he received during a stabbing overnight Monday.

According to WSB-TV, the attack happened at the Peachcrest Gardens apartment complex in Tucker; when officers arrived at the scene, they found the 27-year-old victim in the parking lot with multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where doctors had to amputate his leg to save his life.
WSB-TV reports that investigators believe the victim was attacked by multiple people, but witnesses were unable to describe any suspects due to the poor lighting in the parking lot.
