DeKalb Police Shoot Carjacking Suspect

DeKalb County police have shot a carjacking suspect after they say he tried to run them over in unincorporated Stone Mountain on Monday afternoon.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the carjacking occurred in the 1800 block of West Park Place just after 4 p.m. Police told the station that officers fired shots at the man as he aimed the car at police.

The suspect was injured in the shooting, but has yet to be identified, according to FOX 5.
