According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Quentin Wright of Champion Theme Middle School admitted he allowed students use of the closet for sex and even bought condoms for some of them. Wright attempted to submit a resignation letter. However, the district refused to accept his resignation and put him before the tribunal, which recommended he be fired.

A school district lawyer told the AJC that investigators have uncovered 10 students who knew about the closet and four students who admitted to participating in sex in the closet.

WSB-TV reports that the situation was uncovered when the parent of a 14-year-old student at Champion found text messages on her child’s phone from Wright which included times during which the student could “use” the closet, Wright being unable to provide condoms to the student, and reminding the student that he needs to tell “the girl” to keep the incident a secret.

Wright has since been arrested and charged with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police are still investigating Wright and could file more charges, the AJC says.
