Join Duane Marcus, organic gardener for over 30 years and Decatur Farmers Market Manager, for a tour of his very own urban farm in Stone Mountain called the Funny Farm. At the Funny Farm, you will find 3 lush acres with a .5 ac. pond, barn, veggies, small fruits, herbaceous and woody flowers, herbs, mushrooms, chickens and worms. Duane will show you how utilizing the principles of Permaculture helps him efficiently grow an abundance of food while respecting and listening to the land. Duane often teaches classes on organic gardening and sustainable living at the Funny Farm.
