Goodwill South DeKalb Career Center Hosts Youth Job Fair
Youth ages 16 to 24 are invited to connect with local employers and recruiters.

Goodwill of North Georgia is hosting a job fair for youth ages 16 to 24 at its South DeKalb Career Center on Thursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Whether looking for their first job or a better job, youth will have the opportunity to connect with 10 local employers, many of which will be accepting applications and interviewing job candidates on site at the fair.

Known for its donation centers and stores, Goodwill uses the revenue from its donated goods program to support its career centers and employment services. The facilities have become a resource for more than 40,000 job seekers and thousands of area businesses looking to hire staff.
Equipped with computers, résumé-writing tools, local job postings, photocopiers, telephones and other resources, Goodwill career centers are free and open to the public. Goodwill also provides recruitment fair space, interview rooms and other services for local employers.
Job fair attendees should arrive in professional interview attire and bring several copies of their résumés. Job seekers can use Goodwill’s online location finder to identify their nearest career center.
