Man Who Died In DeKalb Train Crash ID'ed
The man who died while trying to save a woman during a train crash in DeKalb County has been identified.
SCOTTDALE, GA — The man who died in a train crash while trying to save a woman in a stopped car on the tracks Tuesday at East Ponce de Leon and North Clarendon avenues has been identified.
DeKalb County Police on Wednesday identified the man as Brent Davis, 38. Police said Davis was the driver of the car, and the woman was a passenger who was critically injured in the crash.

The deadly wreck happened around 2 a.m. Police did not say why the car was stopped on the tracks.
Davis was attempting to help the woman escape the car before the train arrived, police said. He died at the scene, and the woman was taken to a hospital, police said.
