Shallowford Presby. Sets Informal Late Afternoon Service

Shallowford Presbyterian Church will hold the next “Messy Church @ SPC,” a monthly Sunday late afternoon worship service, on May 15 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by a simple meal together on the church’s campus, 2375 Shallowford Rd., Atlanta, GA 30345, (404) 321.1844.

The service and activities at the May Messy Church @ SPC will focus on the theme “Our Common Bond.”

“So much divides us, but God unites us,” said organizer Rev. Sara Hayden. “We are called to live as people for one another. This is a Pentecost-themed service, an anniversary of celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit in the world.”

Expect a casual atmosphere, special songs and crafts for the kids, plus time for adults and youth to reflect during the service. Afterwards, all attendees are invited to share a simple meal together. The meal begins at 6 pm. No RSVP is necessary. Bring your friends!

Messy Church @ SPC will take a summer break and be back in the fall.
