Suspect in Fort Bragg Soldier's Murder Has Ties to DeKalb, Atlanta
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward leading to the arrest of Jason Earl Armstrong Jr., accused of murdering his wife earlier this month.
The FBI believes that a man wanted in connection with the murder of a Fort Bragg, NC, solider has ties to DeKalb County and Atlanta.
The Charlotte, NC, FBI division is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest Jason Earl Armstrong, Jr., 27. Armstrong is accused of killing his wife, Iris Armstrong inside their home on the Fort Bragg Army Base in Fayetteville, NC, on July 1, 2016.
Armstrong is described as having black hair, brown eyes, 5’11”-6’, and weighing 150-160 pounds.

The FBI said Armstrong has ties to Atlanta and several surrounding areas, including Clarkston, Stone Mountain, Lilburn, Norcross, East Point and College Park, as well as Texas, South Carolina, California, Louisiana, and Arizona.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Armstrong was seen on surveillance video using the victim’s debit card shortly after the murder occurred.
