Suspect Sought in Sex Assault Attempt on 13-Year-Old Girl

DeKalb Police Special Victims Unit is hoping the public can help identify and locate the suspect in an attempted sexual assault at a Decatur area church.

The 13 year-old female victim was standing on the front lawn of the Greenforest Community Baptist Church at 3250 Rainbow Drive in the Decatur area on May 29, according to Friday post on the DCPD Facebook page.

The suspect is described as a bald, dark-skinned black male, full beard, 6’0” tall, muscular build, approximately 40 years of age. He was wearing a long-sleeved button down white shirt and black pants.
