Teacher Arrested At Atlanta Airport On Drug Charges
A special education teacher from Southwest DeKalb High School was arrested Friday at the airport on drug charges.
DECATUR, GA — A special education teacher was arrested over the weekend at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on drug charges, reports WSB-TV. Decatur Southwest DeKalb High School teacher Raheema Cox was sent to jail Friday night.
Clayton County police arrested the 44-year-old teacher who is being held without bond on multiple charges, including possession of marijuana and giving a false name to police.
In a statement to WSB, a spokesperson for the district said the teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Drugs were also found on another suspect. The identity isn’t known yet.
