Teenage Girl Killed in Overnight DeKalb Shooting

Three others were shot outside a Glenwood Road convenience store in unincorporated Decatur. Police believe it was a gang-related gun battle.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — A 15-year-old girl was shot to death early Wednesday morning outside a Glenwood Road grocery store.

Three other people were also shot, according to 11 Alive.

Police found between 50 and 60 shell casings outside the S&N Superette convenience store. They also found several cars with bullet holes in them.

DeKalb County Homicide Commander J.A. Lewis told WSB-TV that, “The scene dictates that it was a run-and-gun battle going on. At this present time, it’s a strong indication that it is gang-related,”

The other shooting victims were 19 and 25, and both are reported to be in stable condition.
