Tree Falls Onto 2 Decatur Homes, Traps Teenager In Bedroom

A tree crashed into two homes in DeKalb County. Residents had to be rescued, along with their dogs. No one was injured.

DECATUR, GA — A tree fell onto two homes Tuesday morning in DeKalb County, trapping a teenager in his bedroom.

Decatur Assistant Fire Chief Ninetta Violante told WSB-TV that the tree fell early in the morning. One of the homes had four people inside with two dogs and trapped a teenager while he was asleep.They were able to get out, but the home isn’t livable. The other home had a woman and her dog who had to be rescued.

No one was injured, but there were damages.
