Whole Foods Likely Coming To Decatur, Report Says
The popular food market is reportedly in "advanced talks" about a spot at North Decatur Road and Church Street.

DECATUR, GA -- A developer is in "advanced talks" to bring a Whole Foods Market to Decatur, the Atlanta Business Chronicle is reporting.
S.J. Collins Enterprises, a Fairburn, Ga.-based development firm that has located Whole Foods stores in multiple mixed-use locations throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, is looking at a spot at North Decatur Road and Church Street, the Chronicle said, citing multiple unnamed sources.
A Tesla Motors showroom was the most recent addition at that intersection, near an area of Decatur's north end that has seen a development boom of late.

In a statement to the Business Chronicle, a partner with S.J. Collins would not confirm the plans, but called Decatur a booming area that would be a good spot for a development.
A Whole Foods would be the latest addition to a previously sleepy area that is undergoing massive changes.

Nearby, Fuqua Development has a massive, multi-phase project underway that will bring new residential and commercial properties to north Decatur. And Selig Enterprises has reworked its nearby Suburban Plaza property, bringing a Wal-Mart, L.A. Fitness and other retail outlets to the area.
