DOUGLASVILLE, GA — The four suspects arrested in connection with the death of a man are accused of dismembering his body and disposing of it in Douglas County, WXIA-TV's Cody Alcorn reported Wednesday.
Alcorn cited a court indictment, which he said claimed the suspects severed the hands and head of Atlanta barber Jamal Parker.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office on Aug. 12 said Parker, 37, was killed on May 15 and was found dead in the Dog River Reservoir, which sits along Highway 166 in Douglasville.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation positively identified Parker a month after he was found dead, authorities said.

While authorities did not release a cause of death, the indictment reportedly claimed the suspects used both a knife and a gun in the killing.
Authorities identified the suspects as David Davonte Barber, Brittany Amber Baker, Mario Andre Barber and Ambria Boyd.
The trio was charged with murder, authorities said. The sheriff's office has not released a motive.
Alcorn secured a statement from Parker's father, who reportedly said the suspect were known to Parker. The statement read, in part:
"He was a gifted and creative soul with an entrepreneurial spirit. He had talents in fashion, music and art, and he approached life with imagination and determination. ... Like many young men with dreams, Jamal was still writing his story. He deserved the opportunity to continue building his future, sharing his talents and allowing his light to shine. That opportunity was taken from him far too soon."
