4th Murder Suspect Arrested After Man Found Dead In Douglas Co. Reservoir

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A fourth person is facing murder charges in connection with the death of a 37-year-old Atlanta man in Douglas County, authorities said Wednesday.

Authorities on Tuesday arrested David Davonte Barber on charges of felony murder, malice murder, felony battery and aggravated assault in connection with the May 15 death of Jamal Parker, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.

Parker was found dead in the Dog River Reservoir, which sits along Highway 166 in Douglasville, authorities said. A cause and manner of death were not revealed.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation positively identified Parker a month after he was found dead, authorities said.

During the investigation, authorities said they have arrested three other people: Brittany Amber Baker, Mario Andre Barber and Ambria Boyd. The trio was charged with murder, authorities said.
