• Southwest DeKalb blows past Druid Hills (thechampionnewspaper.com) — Druid Hills High School's football team suffered a 57-0 road loss to Southwest DeKalb on Oct. 2, highlighted by record-setting performances from Panthers receiver Jordan Christie and quarterback Braylon Carter. Despite a long third-quarter drive, Druid Hills couldn't capitalize, with turnovers and special teams miscues helping Southwest DeKalb pile on points at Adams Stadium.
