• Gwinnett deli fails health inspection after insects were found in food (thegeorgiasun.com) — Health inspectors recently gave a Duluth American Deli on Pleasant Hill Road a failing score after finding insect issues, temperature problems, and sanitation concerns that led to food being discarded on-site. Management corrected some violations immediately, but officials will return within 10 days and warn the restaurant's permit could be suspended if problems aren't fully resolved.
• Gladiators bring back Nolan (echl.com) — Hockey fans in Duluth will see a familiar face next season, as the Atlanta Gladiators have re-signed forward Ryan Nolan after his career-best year with the team. Nolan led all Gladiators forwards in plus-minus and contributed key game-winning goals, and he'll return to Gas South Arena for the 2026–27 ECHL campaign.
• Gwinnett County: 7 plead guilty to burglarizing 492 vehicles, ring to serve over 60 years combined (ocgnews.com) — A massive auto break-in ring that hit nearly 500 vehicles across Gwinnett has been dismantled, with seven young adults pleading guilty and receiving lengthy sentences. Duluth Police joined several local and state agencies in the investigation, which tied the crew to stolen vans, guns, and equipment taken from neighborhoods countywide.
