Here are the top 3 stories in Duluth today:
- Get ready for the 2nd annual Little Beer on Saturday, Apr. 9! Good Word Brewing and the City of Duluth will host 60 different breweries from across the country in the courtyard outside of Good Word in Downtown Duluth. The event celebrates both small beers and lagers and each brewery will bring one of each. Attendees will be able to sample the various beers on offer. Tickets are necessary to participate in sampling and are available on Good Word's website. (Good Word)
- The family of Guangyun Jin, an Uber driver killed by a train earlier this month in Duluth, rescued a man stuck in the same spot on the tracks. According to Jin's family, they were looking at the site of the accident over the weekend and noticed a car stuck in the same spot along South Peachtree Street. The family was able to convince the man to leave his car behind and Duluth Police stopped the inbound train. WSB-TV reported that Duluth Police have received numerous calls about vehicles stuck on this stretch of track. (Patch)
