• GSW students present research at annual Undergraduate Symposium (americustimesrecorder.com) — A Georgia Southwestern State University student from Sugar Hill, Jillian Haddow, helped earn second place in the poster competition at the school’s 8th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. Nearly 70 students presented projects across science, humanities, and professional fields, showcasing research on everything from cancer genetics to gambling politics and squirrel food preferences. The event highlights strong faculty mentorship and hands-on learning at the Americus campus.
