The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things going on today in Duluth.

Hello, neighbors! It's me again, Lyndsay Kendall Oxley, your host of the Duluth Daily.

Here are the top stories today in Duluth:
- The Gwinnett County Public School District is struggling to find paraprofessionals for all schools. GCPS is offering a $1,500 incentive for those who are hired on as a paraprofessional. The need for teachers, bus drivers, and substitutes also remains as the entire country is seeing a shortage of most school building positions. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The dead body of an unnamed local was found in the backseat of truck in Lawrenceville over the weekend. Neighbors say that the truck had been parked at the intersection of Tech Center Parkway and Pierce Brennen Drive for over a week before police investigated on Sunday. The name of the man has not yet been released, as officials are still pending the notification for the next-of-kin. (WSB Atlanta)
- Our locally beloved Suwanee-based StillFire Brewing is now planning its move to a second location in Smyrna. Keep an eye out for updates! (Gwinnettdailypost.com) This article is behind a paywall.
- Gwinnett County officials are planning ahead for storms that are coming this week. Crews are installing a new power generator at the Parks Operation Center. The money for this project came from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant Program. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The Gwinnett County Beekeepers Club is busy spreading the word about the importance of honeybees. It had a meeting this past weekend to educate our community on the value bees hold. If you are interested in bees, beekeeping, or just want more information, you can join the Facebook group "Beekeeper's Club of Gwinnett County." (Gwinnett Citizen)
