Bites Nearby: Cho Wan Restaurant

A Korean all-you-can-eat buffet is the subject of this week's Bites Nearby.

 -- Cho Wan offers Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food buffet-style for one all-inclusive price. The real highlight here is the Korean section of the buffet line, of course. There are plenty of banchan (traditional Korean side dishes), but what really stands out are the piles of quality raw meats and seafood. The available meats aren't always the same, but you might expect to see beef, pork, chicken, squid, shrimp, and short ribs. Once you've piled your plate high and return to your table, a member of the wait staff will come by to assist you in grilling your meats on the stovetop built into the table. Try grabbing a lettuce leaf and some condiments to build yourself a wrap like you might see the Korean clientele do.
