-- Located near Gwinnett Place Mall, Purple Rain is a transformed pool hall that oozes ambience. Their goal was to produce a trendy, metropolitan experience outside of the perimeter. Purple Rain's main focus as far as food is concerned lies in a globespanning variety of tapas. Examples include carne asada tacos, Korean-style pork belly, and escargot. A variety of composed plates are also available including NOLA Shrimp & Grits, Filet Mignon and Pan Roasted Duck Breast. The drink menu features innovative top-shelf cocktails such as the Lychee Sparkler, Peachy Clean, Kiss the Rain and, of course, the Ultimate Martini. Purple Rain typically has a DJ spinning electronic music on Friday and Saturday nights. Dress nicely and bring plenty of money to Purple Rain; this is not a casual restaurant.
