Dreamland BBQ Breaks Ground in Downtown Duluth
The city says the new restaurant will open in 2015 and create 100 new jobs in the area.

From City of Duluth
On November 5, 2014, a corporately owned Dreamland BBQ franchise restaurant broke ground on its new location in downtown Duluth. The City is demolishing a portion of the 60 year old Parson’s warehouse building on West Lawrenceville to make way for a 1,500 square foot addition attached to the remaining 5,000 square foot dry goods building. New construction will begin soon on the addition and an adjoining Parson’s Alley courtyard created by the demolition.
Betsy McAtee, CEO, Dreamland Restaurants of Atlanta said “We could not be more thrilled to call downtown Duluth our new home. We weren’t sure what to expect when the City asked us to visit this old warehouse. After few hours we saw what they saw and we know what an honor this is for our company.”
