Duluth High Senior Wins Essay Contest

Jade Edwards, Duluth High School senior, wins William Day DAR Chapter contest

Duluth High School senior Jade Edwards has won the Christopher Columbus Essay Contest, the topic being “Advantages and Disadvantages of Working Relationships Between Foreign Parties.” Duluth’s William Day Chapter, NSDAR, awarded Jade a medal, certificate and a monetary award at its March meeting, while chapter members and her family looked on. The annual essay contest is sponsored by NSDAR and the National Italian American Foundation and is open to all public, private, or home schooled students in grades 9-12.
