Gwinnett Man Robbed With A Cattle Prod

The victim believes the suspects had followed him to his Duluth home from his workplace, police say.

DULUTH, GA — A Gwinnett County man was attacked with a cattle prod and robbed outside his apartment, police say.

The incident happened on October 7 at Menlo Creek Apartments, on the 4300 block of Satellite Boulevard, in Duluth at about 11:30 p.m.

The victim told police that, as he was walking into his apartment, he was approached from behind by two men.

One of them hit him with the cattle prod while the other was holding a handgun.

The two stole his backpack, which contained cash and personal valuables, and searched his pockets.

A witness told police that the pair then drove away in a black Dodge Challenger.

The victim told officers he thinks the suspects had followed him home from his restaurant job a few days earlier.
